2D scanning and profile measurement

Scanning with a linear scanner

The most accurate form of surface scanning and analysis to thousandths of a millimetre. The static attachment of the scanning head with a moving object, whether on a linear stage or a robotic arm, allows you to create a highly accurate 3D model of the scanned object, or just to analyse deviations on a continuously scanned profile.

Profilometry

Primarily the most accurate way to analyze a surface is to scan the profile and apply measurement functions that evaluate the correct dimensions of the scanned object, or defects on the surface.

3D scanning and model reference

3D scanning in motion

By setting the scanned object or scanner head in motion, it is possible to create a precise 3D model and comprehensively analyse the shape and defects on the surface.

3D measurement

The analysis of a complex 3D model is suitable not only for local shape analysis but also for the overall measurement of the positions and dimensions of the entire scanned object.

Static 3D scanning

The static 3D scanner enables scanning of the object without mutual movement with an accuracy of tenths of a millimeter, thus simplifying the entire application and saving scanning time.

Robotic scanning

By combining a linear or 3D scanner with the dynamics of a robotic arm, it is possible to scan complex objects by positioning the scanning device to the required positions.

Reference check with 3D model

The result of the 3D scan is a 3D model, which can then be compared with a reference 3D model to determine mutual deviations and thus analyze the accuracy or error of the design.
